co+Lab is thrilled to announce the launch of an exciting initiative aimed at the Kelowna tech community.
Points West Audio Video and co+Lab have partnered to create a collaborative learning space, located within co+Lab in the Kelowna Innovation Centre. A strong desire to incite positive change in the Okanagan creative and technology community led to this partnership which enables professionals to gather and learn, collaborate, illustrate, and conceptualize with ease and limitless potential.
Acting as a catalyst in the professional community through knowledge sharing with collaborative activities and events, co+Engine is poised to stimulate economic growth in Kelowna’s technology startup sector and beyond.
Using SMART technology, specifically a SMART 8070i -G4 Interactive Display, people are able to work naturally by using touch gestures to write and manipulate content or simply pick up a pen or eraser.
This pilot project will research and develop effective collaborative learning spaces and use design methodology to encourage community participation to produce more useful, usable, and enjoyable learning experiences.
