Sarah Stang
“Not work related, but the reason I’ve been MIA is I just spent my vacation in Zambia with Habitat for Humanity. We learned some basic masonry and built 3 cement block houses (almost finished expect for the roofs). I also managed to pick up a few words of Nyanja and Bemba languages and made some new friends.”
Tori Hanson
“I am currently working on the Elevation Outdoors strategic plan for 2014-2017 a working breathing document to guide our organization to success. Personally, I will be swimming the 1/2 Rattlesnake Island Swim on the weekend – hoping not to meet Ogopogo en route to Peachland but hey, you never know!”
Kodie Beckley
“What’s new in the world of Kodie? Well, I just posted the newest in the I&I series with Colin Basran on the co+Lab blog where we talked about the future of Kelowna and social innovation. I’ve been reaching out to students not only in Kelowna, but all across North America helping them with their struggles and promoting Kelowna as a viable option after graduation. And as always, I’m ready and happy to take on any new projects that anybody has.”
Mike Porter
“Rescued a stranded hiker that became lost up near Chute Lake after too much wine tasting in Naramata. Say what? True story.
Funded three more loans to young entrepreneurs in Kelowna. Woot!”
Ryan Gallagher
“I launched my motivationengine.net consumer product before going on a Europe trip for two weeks across Alicante, Barcelona, Split, Dubrovnic and Mostar.”
Daniel Washbrook
I’ve done nothing of interest except letting people win at foos to boost morale. I did it for you guys!
