If you live in a small community, everything is smaller… there’s a smaller pool of investors, a smaller pool of talent, and a smaller number of job opportunities. Or is there?
What if what you believed about your community was wrong? What if you could 10x the economy of your local community? And what if you could 10x your 10x?
On September 27, 2018 join us at coLab as we kickoff our 7th season. Join us for an evening discussion about the power of community and collaboration when mixed with entrepreneurship. We’ll talk about ideas, share inspiration, and stories about collaboration in action.
Harvard Business Review has many great articles on collaboration and the advantages of collaboration versus trying to keep as much business within a business, taking on a project where there is no expertise, risking not providing value to a client and weakening the local economy. Their article Collaborative Advantage
: The Art of Alliances does a great job of describing the advantages of collaboration and alliances and some of the pitfalls to watch for. It evens describes how 2 leading agencies collaborate to keep a key client and expand their respective markets. We need to be hearing more stories like this in our community.
